    Yes what a relief.
It's an odd thing, I didn't really ever commit to working there in a weird way.
You know some people have endless possessions to collect?
For me it was a plant and a coffee mug.

That's exactly what I was feeling this time last year - just sheer relief!

I was at my last job for 5 years, and I know exactly what you mean about not committing to work there. Even when I first started, it seemed transient. Maybe being part time added to this feeling, but most of the time I never really felt I belonged. I didn't even have a coffee mug and plant to walk away with - if was just me who left the office for the final time!

Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Thankyou. We have been out with naughty Plops today.

She gets a glazed look when she is being mutinous like it is nothing to do with her.

DH just bought our tree - 8ft Nordman for £12.50. Result!
