  • thanks guys, i think he means "corprate a**eholes " when he says babylon, he means like all the bigwigs ruling the country n stuff, thing is, its those babylon people what we owe money to, so why would he challenge me trying to bloody get rid of them??? He absolutely does my head in sometimes, ive been so positive all week and last week, n everytime i try to talk to him about the bills or our budget he hits the roof!!! Ive calmed down now!! I think Im at the angry stage lol

Awww poor mad, remember that it was probably just an off the cuff remark from him and he'll not think about it again. So you shouldn't stew over it for ages, as i doubt he is.

Of course if things are trouble all round then that's a whole other matter and one that only you can think about. Something we can all relate to at some time or another.

Take care anyway and know that you will get the support you need here, whatever happens.

Maybe he's adjusting to the fact that the fluffy little woman is taking a bit of control of her own destiny and the caveman within him is feeling a little bit threatened. The male ego can be a tender thing and you're definitely getting your act together.

  • Babylon was a city of ancient Mesopotamia, the ruins of which can be found in present-day Al Hillah, Babil Province; Iraq about 80km south of Baghdad. It was the "holy city" of Babylonia from around 2300 BC, and the seat of the Neo-Babylonian Empire from 612 BC. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

I don't think this is what your OH was referring to though...
