There is not normally much of a discount on scheduled fares for children.

Most of the time scheduled airlines seats are cheaper the earlier you book. You need to check on-line(or phone) with several agencies. Normally Expedia/last minute/opodo etc are cheaper but not always - sometimes the airlines websites themselves are cheaper. Remember that because an agency got cheap seats for someone last year it doesn't mean they will be the cheapest this year.
