For W10 ideally you need a card that supports DX11 or above, the minimum ATI card you should be looking at is HD5000 series (minimum for current support) or above; a HD5450 would be enough such as something like this:

If you are going Nvidia then pick 8000 series or above as that is the minimum for current support, ideally 400 series or above as this is where DX11 support starts.

I am assuming that the both cards you mentioned will work with my motherboard and BIOS?
As I am sure you can tell, I don't reall know much about this area!

They should do provided your MB is definitely PCIe and not AGP.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
