I think I have carefully read and understood the question and I think this link below, may give the answer sought (I hope?):

The only bit in that link (that's been re-posted several times now, in addition to once in the OP) that's of any relevance to the question being asked is this bit...In addition to the ’per transaction’ limits listed below, most types of account have a daily limit on the total amount you can send - contact your bank in advance if you are planning to send large-value amounts which may exceed any daily limits your bank has set.0 -
But the website is updated regularly (last updated 7th August) and it does say for those wanting to know their own bank limits, to contact their own bank direct. So I doubt there would be any further 'central' point of reference as that would have been mentioned.
I reckon the next stop is agrinnall needs to make contact with his own bank(s) and see if they publish their own FPS limits online or ask for the information needed.0 -
I've still not read it your post that is.
However as someone as clearly pointed out in post 15#
So just to reliterate again the following MAY be useful and feel my reply was appropriate.

Maybe you could contact the payments UK formally known as the payments council:

Well I'm glad that Yorkshire Boy (and previously Paul_1977) understand the question because some people seem to be willfully misunderstanding and continually posting links and information that simply repeat what I said in my OP without adding to it. If you don't know the answer to the question then there's really not much value in posting on the thread. Saying something "may" help when it obviously doesn't is a waste of everyone's time.0

Not really it MAY help someone in the future as clearly no one can actually answer the question as their does not appear to be a definitive answer and it's obvious you don't know the answer yourself as you wouldn't be asking it. Example NatWest/RBS have a limit of 20k per working day as mirrored by the previous link.

I haven't read the question but this MAY be useful: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080820174408AAZkbcGLet's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

You see, that is a useful link, and if all banks did that and the information was collected in one place, as with the transaction limits, that would be the answer to my question.
Your link to the transaction limits is useful in it's own way, but adds nothing to the thread because I had already included in in my first post, so you're simply repeating (twice) what was already there.0 -

Not quite as useful as the link to transaction limits but has similar relevance to the question asked .0 -

In this instance if it's that important why dont you just call nationwide and ask the question.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0
