Tooth in my soup!

Hello lovely MSE's
Can you help.
I have found a tooth in my Tesco soup (this is not a joke and it is not mine), I'm not sure if I can add a photo on here. I am sure it is a tooth as I can see the dentine and enamel and the Tesco Custimer services said on first look she thought it was a tooth.
I am on weight watchers so eat loads of vegetable soup, its the fresh veg, pre chopped up in bags that is always on 3 for 2 offer. I tend to make up batches and freeze it.
I have been to the Tesco where I bought it and they have given me a £10 gift card and I am really not sure what to do now, is it possible I could have caught something off of eating something like this? i have had to throw away all my Tesco's food in my fridge and feel sick just thinking about it, in fact I have barely been able to eat as i feel nauseous.
I'd like to reiterate this isn't a joke, I know its the sort of thing you read in magazines like chat and take a break but this actually happened last night.
In the batch I defrosted yesterday, I only ate half the tub therefore - maybe there is a filling in the other half!
Can you help.

Whilst it is not a nice thing to experience, the 'tooth' will have been processed to death even if it had fell directly out of a factory employees mouth. Plus you will have heated it again to eat it.
The £10 gift card is all you're going to get, and I wouldn't expect more. I would certainly bin the rest of the tub but it was your choice to throw away all the Tesco brand food in your fridge. That's overreacting slightly and that won't be compensated.
Actually, in a slight reread, it's not Tesco soup but soup you made yourself? From Tesco veg? So really the tooth could have showed up anywhere? In that case you are lucky to have even got the £10...0 -
So the soup had some extra filling??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

What exactly are you looking for? It's not exactly a big deal, it's a 2 minute talking point and move on.
Throw it out and get on with your life. Your not entitled to anything other than a complaint to who ever will listen, nod in agreement then do nothing about it.
So once again what is it you expect?0 -
Whilst I appreciate this is not a story for the ten o'clock news, I am not going "to just throw it away and get on with my life"
I mean YUK! its a whole tooth (pretty much!) what else is going in our prepared food, some disgruntled employee could pleasure themselves into your cheese spread and all sorts!0 -
You did not have to throw away other food just because of a label .
Just shop at another store for a few months .0 -

You had various options
You could have complained to Environmental Health.
You could have complained to Tesco.
You could have gone to the press.
EH may have investigated, Tesco probably won't. Press probably would have published a sensationalist story.
But you now need to stand by the decision you made.
You've had a £10 off them; you will have to accept the outcome of the choice you made. There's no need to make disgusting comments about what might be going into prepared food on the basis of what LOOKED LIKE a tooth. But may not have been! Having said that, if there were 'fluids' in a bag of all sorts I would probably notice!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Come on.
It was not in prepared food as such but in a bag of veg.
We really do seem to have come to rely on everything to be completely sanitised it would seem.
I take it you eat out. If you knew everything that went on you would never do it.0 -

Once again, what is it you expect? If you want this issue to consume your very existence, then go ahead but few on here will care.
I once had the misfortune of having raw sewage in my mouth (and sadly I did swallow, but please, don't ask) but once I had spit a few times, I just got on with it. A tooth, strewth!0 -

Your post is a little unclear but I assume your not satisfied with the outcome. What are you after?0 -
