I got it back last night with a new wireless card and keyboard, and so far it is behaving as it should with no changes to the software.

I had a big debate with PC World about why they couldn't deliver the laptop to my house rather than the store 25 miles away, but hopefully that's the last dealing I have with them.

    Fingers crossed it's now OK.

Be careful if you use hand cream, it can be a killer for keyboards.

I'm really paranoid about it, I have soft hands and don't tend to use anything on them. I wish they'd make a protector for it!

Why? It's an RTB warranty, not an on-site one-which would usually only be available on a business purchase. You bought a consumer laptop, and you are getting a consumer level service.
Since when did retailers deliver repaired goods to a home address? Your expectations of customer service would stretch even the best retailers: with a shambles like PCW it was always going to end in tears.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Because they do so over the phone for any consumer? I'm confused by your suggestion they wouldn't deliver home. If you ring up they'll pick up from your house and return home.

It gets delivered back to the same place that it was picked up from.
