I've looked at the rules and I cant see anything about the loyalty stamp - not sure if I would be brave enough to ask for it esp in my nearest as the staff are a bit brusque.

I've got a Sainsburys Amex card which I don't pay a fee for. I think mine is fee free because I've had it a long while. Every so often there is a member offer eg spend £10 in nero get £5 back, £10 in the post office and get £5 back onto your card - they are very random though and don't seem related to your spending.
I just use mine in Sainsburys and their partners as I get extra points so the bill only varies between £10 and £120 a month depending if we get petrol when we have a petrol coupon.

Just looking for a suitable link that wont offend red fox - I found a good page but it says you have to spend £2000 in the first 3 months to get 21,000 bonus nectar points
(our Barclaycard you had to only spend £750 x 2 in the first 3 months and that was a challenge in itself and we only did it because of dentist and cattery bills, coal and the washing machine needing replacing)

so then I found a clean link for Sainsburys amex but its the same offer - spend £2000 in the first 3 months to get the bonus nectar points, first year is free but then you need to cancel as its £25 a year afterwards.

Thanks I ll have to study that . I ve got a copy of the t@ c s saying that you can get your card stamped.

Oh no :( sorry to hear that....why is it that this always seems to happen right on top of Christmas.

you need to register - I use the same ones for mycoupons as for nectar to make things simple.

you get to choose from about 50 items and they are related to what you have bought previously so its fairly easy to choose 4 items that you would be buying anyway.
Quite often some things are on offer in sainsbobs anyway - under £1 - or are things that might be on the cashback list. Or it might be an item to include in a brand match shop or even an item you also have a till spit for - or any combination :D

everyones list is different and there does not seem to be a pattern as to when it updates.

also there is a basket item eg mine have been spend £10 get 200 points, spend £30 get 900 points. These tend to come up every week, then there is a gap when there is no basket item so that's the week to spend the bare minimum and wait for it to come back. Some weeks your basket item might be double points - not worth having unless your shop is going to be massive so just choose any other groucery item.

usually each item is worth between 40 and 80 nectar points but sometimes you get items worth hundreds. After you have chosen your 4 or 5 email the list to yourself.

at the till make sure you scan the right nectar card at the till with the right items and a few days later you get an email to say that you have bought the qualifying item and then a few days later again they go onto your account.

Ooh thank you I ll need to study that too. I ve got an offer of 200 points loaded straight away when you spend something at Sainsbury s local and as I hope to go to Liverpool tomorrow :) I will use mine and hubby s there as they have one by ...I think it's Lime St Station . It's not James St nor the last stop Liverpool central is it.

did you copy and paste the rules last night or yesterday?

I think they have been tinkering today - I was looking forward to the cold drinks - I am powerless to resist the hot chocolate with cream but I have to go without breakfast and lunch to squeeze the calories in.

Brilliant, glad it is over and done with for you. I am very nervous going to the dentist. It is on the front of my notes, treat very very gently :o. I shake even going for a check up. I went on Tuesday and shook from head to toe just because he may find something that he could do straight away.....thankfully he didn't and next check up is in July next year so I can breath again.

:) I always glug a big swig of Rescue Remedy & it lulls me into almost a coma :o I knew I had to hurry from Ts to Poundland before Dentist Appointment but was in a 'faraway frame of mind' :happylove:o:o
