Afternoon all. Hope everyone is well.
Just got a call, my catering trial is Mon 8 - 1. Another lady has trial Tues. I will work alingside the 2 ladies that are already in the role and then I will feedback with the boss. One of the ladies I work with also has input into who they hire. So at least it's only 2 of us, in my head I was thinking it would be 3 xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -

nanny hope all is ok at hospital today, and snap is ok at the dentist.
sorry you have been poorly naebbirac hope your feeling better, looking foward to seeing yours and vt pictures , xxxx
fc how could you not take the poor lad serious;) I love hearing his stories, just make sure you give him plenty of water
my own ds3 is driving me mad, he got his exam results I was thrilled with them but he was disappointed,he had the expectation of doing better, I think the school being pushy has not helped he can retake them as he did them early.but I dont see the point I told him I am so proud of him but he seems to expect top marks and if he has not he is disapointed and feels he has not done his best. he frustrates me as he seems to need perfection:o:o
also any teachers out there he has 5 different science marks and i dont know why any ideas,,please xx
Is he doing core science and additional science, or is he doing biology, chemistry and physics
If it is core and additional, they're worth one GCSE each. However, they still do separate exams for each individual biology chemistry and physics, and these will show as a result on the results slip, but they are all added up to then give an overall grade for the core and the additional. For example my daughter got an A* for her graded assessment (called an ISA I think), then a C for biology, D for chemistry and D for physics. Overall this meant she got a C for Additional Science GCSE. Confusing!!
If he is doing them as 3 different subjects, then he will get individual GCSES for biology, chemistry and physics. Not sure what would show on his results slip as my daughter didn't do that.
Hope that has helped and not confused you more! :rotfl::eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi mhoc did I read you get points for various food items from Sainsburys if so where are they please as I can't find them on the app Thanks
https://mycoupons.sainsburys.co.uk/
you need to register - I use the same ones for mycoupons as for nectar to make things simple.
you get to choose from about 50 items and they are related to what you have bought previously so its fairly easy to choose 4 items that you would be buying anyway.
Quite often some things are on offer in sainsbobs anyway - under £1 - or are things that might be on the cashback list. Or it might be an item to include in a brand match shop or even an item you also have a till spit for - or any combination
everyones list is different and there does not seem to be a pattern as to when it updates.
also there is a basket item eg mine have been spend £10 get 200 points, spend £30 get 900 points. These tend to come up every week, then there is a gap when there is no basket item so that's the week to spend the bare minimum and wait for it to come back. Some weeks your basket item might be double points - not worth having unless your shop is going to be massive so just choose any other groucery item.
usually each item is worth between 40 and 80 nectar points but sometimes you get items worth hundreds. After you have chosen your 4 or 5 email the list to yourself.
at the till make sure you scan the right nectar card at the till with the right items and a few days later you get an email to say that you have bought the qualifying item and then a few days later again they go onto your account.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
