Might be very interesting but it's the first thing like this I have found. Right hear goes!!

On homebase I was looking for some evergreen plants for the garden, I know there not the cheapest but was looking for what is evergreen and what isn't, I'm not a gardener.

If you add 2 http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/dwarf-fan-palm-22cm-299718 to basket, ( not sure if I done this right ) they were £30 each reduced to £15 half price, but on 2 for £40. When adding 2 the discount still comes off making them 2 for £10. Only down fall for me was home delivery only for £3.95 not c&c available.

    Hope I've done this correct

Just checked and these are still available going in my basket at £10 for 2, store collection only.

    How large are they David?

Edit: now OOS......has anyone tried any of the other plants in the same offer?

Just received this email from Adsa

    Hi
We’re getting in touch to let you know that we’re changing the way we process payments for your Adsa online grocery orders.
From 2nd September 2015, we’ll take payment for the online order value of your delivery or collection once you’ve received your order. In some instances, we may need to make a subsequent adjustment to your payment on the day, for example to take into account variable weight or unavailable items. The adjustment and original online order value may appear as two separate transactions on your bank statement – but your final payment amount will always be the confirmed value at the bottom of your delivery note.
To find out more, please to view our FAQs.
For our payment terms & conditions, please visit

    Thanks

    Not looking good!

However, we are going to trial a new pricing system soon and different stores will run this trial on different dates. We will notify You when the store Your order will be dispatched from is trialling the new system and during the trial period the following terms will apply to Your order:

You will pay the price that is on the Site at the time You place Your order or amend Your order. If a new promotion is in place after You have placed Your order for example, a multi-buy offer or price reduction which may be advertised on the packaging of goods you have ordered, these promotions will not be applied to Your order.

I have received that email too :(.

This term change is changing the whole premise of online shopping for supermarkets though as to my knowledge all their competitors (currently) are very clear that the price you pay is the price charged instore on the day of the collection/delivery and the online price is a guide only. So this means if the price has gone up instore then you still only pay the lower online price? If we use the recent glitch as an example, are they saying that if you ordered 24 packs of Andrex at 20p (or Felix last night) that they would honour it as that was the price at the time of ordering (they probably have another term about errors etc being corrected)?

Or is the claim that if you are willing to order at the price stated you are obviously happy paying that price? I suppose on one level it protects you from the price going up (due to offers ending) - will this suit muggles better and therefore it only affects us due to glitch shopping? Would "normal" shoppers prefer to order and know that is the price they will pay or do they even think about offers starting/ending?

Normally when they make a change like this it is sold as a benefit - so is the benefit that you will not pay more (or less!) than when you place your order?

I honestly don't think that the muggle shoppers know the finer details or even care. Many don't even check prices.......

    From their FAQs:
Why have you changed how you charge?

We’ve listened to our customers and we've learnt that our payment process was rather complicated, so, we've made some changes to make it easier.

Up until 2nd September 2015, we completed a pre-authorisation of 1p to make sure the card details provided were active (this happens each time the order is amended) and on the day of delivery / collection we also submitted authorisation for the order value. Once your order was delivered/collected, the order value was taken.

From 2nd September 2015, we'll still complete the 1p pre-authorisation and request authorisation on the day of delivery / collection. The change comes in once delivery / collection is completed, rather than taking payment for the delivered / collected amount, we 'll take payment for the full checked out order amount.

On occasions there will be a need for an order adjustment:

Credit - the total value of goods delivered is less than the checkout amount (e.g. unavailable item), the difference will be refunded your card on the day of delivery/collection.

Debit - the total value of goods delivered is more than the checkout amount (e.g. due to weighted items being more than estimated), the difference will be debited from your card on the day of delivery/collection.
If they are doing the credit/debit bit at the end (two transactions), how is that easier/less complicated than simpy charging you the collected amount (one transaction)? Also if they are doing the credit, then they could still credit (or indeed debit) you any difference in the price instore.

Right , just back from Morries.
The white had signs up for 2500 points which did show on receipt.
The red didn't have signs up so bought one on a separate receipt , no points on receipt.
Went to customer services with the offer showing on my phone and they added the points.
Could be worth trying and get a refund if they won't add .

This sounds like a plan - so you got the extra 2500 more points as well as the match points for the white?

I'd quite like to try the red as well - might try both :)

There are no match points involved ,it is not sold anywhere else.
It's just 2500 " more " points for each bottle.
