Free wifi at airport. :j
Through security guess who set the alarm off and had to be searched.
No not dd3 with her pinned arm but me and no idea why.
TM and Munqui £4.95 for a bloomin glass of prosecco here! I'm very nervous about flying girls are already disowning me. :rotfl:
I was taken aside and searched - lady guard - OH went though no problem - I am the worlds least likely smuggler
This is in La Rochelle - I wonder how much smuggling they get there :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Talking of Lakeland.....my favourite kitchen utensil:)
I've been buying these since they cost 99p.....now £2.49.:o
I never wear them out but now and then they get thrown out with the potato peelings.
Very sharp and in my view the best vegetable peeler on the market:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

Not looking good!
However, we are going to trial a new pricing system soon and different stores will run this trial on different dates. We will notify You when the store Your order will be dispatched from is trialling the new system and during the trial period the following terms will apply to Your order:
You will pay the price that is on the Site at the time You place Your order or amend Your order. If a new promotion is in place after You have placed Your order for example, a multi-buy offer or price reduction which may be advertised on the packaging of goods you have ordered, these promotions will not be applied to Your order.

Picked up these bad boys from Booths today. A magnum of Prosecco for £14:T
Thought they would be nice for Christmas. The utterly delightful lady who served me said they had bought it for her daughter's wedding which had taken place the previous week and she said it was good stuff.
So there you go:rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau

Trouble is that all SA's in my store call for a supervisor if the apg is over £15 - and although the SA you select might well be laid back usually, you can never be sure if you will get the supervisor from Hell coming over.
Anyway, I think I may well have solved my current problem - used the £19.xx apg at the George counter (where the supervisors don't really know what they are checking for!) and plan to return the clothing minus the receipt at the CS desk and get a refund onto a gift card.
Stand your ground.. the last trouting.. which I do get excited about.. I said.. im using it.. if you want to check it on the asda site then do it otherwise your wasting my time.0 -
Think I saw the distressing photo that FC, Savvy and maybe mhoc were referring to earlier.
It was on the front page of the Times today.
I didn't go looking for it, it just caught me unawares and brought tears. It's pointless saying that my heart ached as that sounds self indulgent and totally insignificant in comparison to the feelings of the parents.
What struck me was the phrase " washed ashore" as if he was a piece of driftwood........and his little shoes........I imagined his mother kneeling down to fasten them several times a day.....but there .....in the turmoil of the sea they had stayed firmly intact .....on his little feet.

That's good to know when/if I ever need another potato peeler. I inherited my mum's one in 2003. Its the other type and I think she originally got it from Betterware. It's so easy to use and just as sharp as ever. Not sure how long she had it before me.0 -
