After a number of years on this planet it has just been brought to my attention by a friend that the hole in a ring pull is meant for a straw!

    I didn't know this either.

Does anyone know what else I don't know? :D

I keep my apgs to about £20 to £30 now.. if there is a offer that produces ones for £50 ill do it. I have a good memory and know what each SA will do. :) whos good.. whos bad... who crys.. who laughs at the amount of stuff I buy. if they ask.. tell them.. its a glitch.

Trouble is that all SA's in my store call for a supervisor if the apg is over £15 - and although the SA you select might well be laid back usually, you can never be sure if you will get the supervisor from Hell coming over.

Anyway, I think I may well have solved my current problem - used the £19.xx apg at the George counter (where the supervisors don't really know what they are checking for!) and plan to return the clothing minus the receipt at the CS desk and get a refund onto a gift card.

I bought a bottle of each to try it. Got home and notice that I only got 2500 points. Will be going back to store to check on this. No signage up about More Piints on either shelf.

    Curiouser and curiouser

Avoid sampling these 2 and take them back tommorow if the signage is not correct
    - just wondering if its worth finding the online shop page and screen shorting it so I know what to look for :)

    Afternoon all

Posting to let you know I am alive and well currently ensconced in a large cabana on the deck of our cruise ship. Sea day today and port tonight.
Sorry for my tardiness all photos have been taken but I have had very little time to get online while in vicinity of wifi. Either in port or asleep so today paid a few pennies to catch up on my emails while at sea.
N has been posting for the both of us usually when I have been napping.

Have had a truly wonderful time and totally converted N to the cruising life style.
We have had a whale of a time and a really good giggle.

Our final payment is due any day now for our next adventure :j

Which will then make it 90 days away so although the tours list is not out yet I've been making possible lists of excursions that might interest us - anything involving wine tasting and food tasting :)

We have some OBC due to having early cruise deposit and the offer at the time we booked - we won't be getting as much OBC ever again as the early cruise deposit is not worth having now. OH says he would like a drink in the bar - I would far rather go on a bus than use the OBC to pay a bar bill :)

I noticed a Canaries one on Azura which is going very early October, still seems to be plenty of cabins and no last minute bargains as yet - think it was still close to 1k per person for an inside cabin - much more than ours cost for outsides with some very nice OBC

Just back from dropping DD1 at work which is very close to M 's so it would have been rude not to call in and try this. Could only find the Ruby Cabernet Shiraz which was £4.59 reduced to clear from £7.49 with no mention of any More Points. So what the heck I tried it anyway but unfortunately did not receive any More Points, perhaps they are online only points:(

Wine update ...... so I went to MrM and still no signage so enquires at CS. I was told to ring up and ask as they had no way of telling
So Ive rung them only to be told that THE STORE CAN sort it as stores have different offers and manager Dan , that should be can, say what's on and what's not

Are you still with me? SO I guess they only way to find out would be to get the bottles apparently, and I ain't going out no more today as already been out twice :rotfl::rotfl:

I just showed DH this pic and he said he knew that  Oh yeah  When pushed and asked how and when did he know, 'coz he has never told me, he said he saw it on TV the other day :rotfl:

Mind you, his other day could be, other week, other month :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
