There's still time to see and hear this amazing aircraft!fairclaire wrote: »Am so looking forward to tomorrow. It's the air show here and the sun will supposedly shine
I'm happy to be going especially because I may get spotted by a handsome red arrows pilot from his cockpit who will spot me from the air and land his plane on the beach and rush out out to find the beautiful woman he spotted in the crowd.....leaving his plane behind and frantically searching for me. We will find each other by the promotional haribo stand that hands mouth changing amounts of sweeties to unsuspecting children and we will embrace.....briefly. he will then toss me a spare flying suit that he carries around just case of this very scenario and me and him will run across the beach back to his red arrow plane and he'll say 'get in silly'.........
on a serious notetomorrow will be the last ever flight of our dearly beloved very 70s looking and 70s acting Vulcan Bomber. will be there to cheer her very distinguished service to our country :A

A few people have got difficult days today, sending warm wishes to you all.
District nurse been round this morning, surprise surprise the fax wasn't picked up over weekend.
Friend been over, she had a flat sheet she has lent me so has changed my duvet cover and made the bed with the sheet. I've also ordered one with my online shopping, so can just alternate them.
Would you believe I've got no smelly candles or anything? Next shop I do I'll have to order some for my room.
Didn't sleep great,I'm just can't seem to get comfy. Am not in pain, have some weird discomfort sometimes but not pain. Sure it will right itself soon.
Going to try for a snooze, having my friend round tired me out! Want to try and shower, I've got shopping coming between 2-4 (really hope they will bring it in for me), then someone popping in after work. Even reading that exhausts me!0 -

Morning all.

I knew someone would remember.
I will decline that offer thanks SSM, I am a lot better than when I was a youngster and if needs must I can sew on a button now. The most difficult bit is as DM says getting that loose thread off, really does make me feel sick but I do fight it out of necessity.0 -
Morning all.
DD2 made a silly mistake when she booked her travel insurance and only noticed when she went to print out this morning that she had put year of birth as this year.
So she has had to cancel and take out a different one, she did it earlier when I was still not with it so not sure if she has chosen best one but it's done now.
The clause that concerns me is they will not pay if you get taken to private hopsital only if you go to public ones how will this work in USA? Would appreciate any insight before she goes. TIA0 -
