Just wondering if there's anyone else here who buys Smartprice grated cheddar and found it to be different recently? The texture is different and it's not melting properly  the ingredients say it contains potato starch but I don't know if it's always contained that. I need to find out the facts before complaining to Sada so can anyone advise please? :D

this is a very kind and generous offer but I think most of us would prefer not to see a Christmas tree in September :rotfl:

I would love to see it, after all, in 16 weeks it will be Christmas Eve :D

I can do this late afternoon if no one tries before then. I'm at an appointment that's within sniffing distance of a Morries.

Savvy........we have had a heated discussion in my house this morning (not for the first time either) on whether a certain word is appropriate to use in everyday conversation :D I say it's not but I'm being increasingly beat down by the kids who think it's ok and I'm being old fashioned :rotfl: I can put the word in question on here and it won't get censored :p :rotfl:
So the word is 'screwed' as in 'if Mum sees that you are screwed' I don't like it it at all but all I seem to have done is sparked a debate over whether it's a 'bad' word or not. And no I'm not going into the context of it with three gobby teenagers  :rotfl:

Packaged grated cheese has always contained some sort of starch to keep it separated in the pack.

I would not let that stop you complaining though, after all, they have obviously changed it :D

That said, the tasted of the value peanut butter changed a while ago, along with the colour. They swore that the recipe had not changed
