Vt your cruise with N sounds like it will be great, can't wait to hear all about it. When do you go?
Can't remember much of what has been posted, sorry. Memory terrible. Hoping it improves as I do.
So so night, although much better than being in hospital.
TMI coming, but could do with some help/coping strategies. I am that lady that smells of wee, and will be for at least another 6 weeks.
One of wounds has slight leakage, and it's not being contained by dressing.
So, how can I stop being stinky? And how am I going to wash a king size duvet cover every day when I can only just get up and downstairs and can't bend down properly? I could get the cover off, but not back on.
Kids can help today, but they are away on NCS from tomorrow.
Any ideas? I don't want to stink!
Oh dear I do feel for you.
For a start pinch one of the kids single duvets while they are away. Far easier to change and cheaper to replace should you decide to.
Copious wet wipes for leaky bits, maybe find something to put over it to absorb fluid. Could you just tape a large Tena pad or an always ultra over it. Can change every couple of hours during day and a night time one for night. Amazing what we think of.
The stinky bit is not that easy to cover up but wet wipes will help. If in company the just have to use loads of body spray.
Your visitors really will not care they just want you to heal.
A good air freshener in bedroom will help to. Burn yourself a nice candle or 2.
Not tmi we are here to find solutions to every conceivable problem if we can.
If you are getting a district nurse come in ask her about leakage.
Yes N and I will have alot of fun and will do daily diary with a photo or 2.
Sure I will come home tired but it will be the good happy kind of tired which I don't get often enough.

Dont get me wrong, I am not saying that they dont deserve to earn a wage, far from it, I am just saying I dont think the action they are doing at the moment is effective.
I agree, but from their point of view at least they are doing something to draw attention to their case. I don't agree with taking livestock into Supermarkets though as it must be terrifying for them. To be importing most of our short-life product such as milk seems ridiculous to me.
Dairy Farmers have a lot of capital tied up in Equipment, Buildings & Livestock etc and have struggled with low returns for several years now.
Regarding Strikes, I got caught up in the London Underground strike on Weds/Thurs - that caused chaos, but did it achieve anything? Looking at the terms they were offered beforehand I think many of us would have accepted 52 days holiday and the wage on offer, but that's a different story.

Had a nice day out at the air show today. My photos are pretty pants though because it was so cloudy and dull. I was going to post some anyway but They're on my phone and I really CBA transferring them to my iPad tonight.
Felt quite emotional watching the Vulcanand I really missed seeing the Lancaster Bomber and spitfires.....always a big highlight for me in the past.
As for the arrows, they had to stick to a pretty low level display as the cloud cover really was low and thick. They were still as fab as ever though :smileyhea . They were only 8 instead of 9 though due to some technical/mechanical hitch.
And yes.....you guessed it. My pilot was the one that should have been in the 9th oneso I had to get a tram back to my car instead of a shiny red arrow
*sigh*
