  • Bacon working OK, thanks OP
  • Isn't it a shame that the refill packs of coffee are normally far more expensive than the 'normal' glass jars. I could store refill packs lots easier. I also don't like throwing away the Douwe jars as they are so useful - I do throw them away now though after finding 2 boxes in the garage I'd saved. (for what?) We throw 1 or 2 away every week.

The only time I remember refill packs being cheap was when T's had a crazy price on the 275gm Kenco refills but no stock, no problem though as I bought in Asda for an extra 10% off.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Douwe 190gm jars are now £3.29 in Morries. Probably too soon for them to show up on an APG though IF they get picked up? Do I buy 10 Gold & 10 indulgence at Asda to get them at £2.99 or just go to Morries & buy them.

Maybe Morries as there may be glitches this month at A's & it would bring HUGE APG's so quickly bringing me to the £100 mark.

I ALWAYS bulk buy when Douwe or Kenco is really cheap as we get through loads & it saves us a fortune. No way am I paying £6.50 or more!

If you have a local freecycle group then you can very easily give away your glass jar collection - there is always someone pickling or jamming and in need of jars :)

They may NOT pick up the Morries prices at all - look at Savvys's posts as he has all the info you'd need & more. Asda vs Morries are a bit haphazard to say the least as many reductions don't find their way onto APG comparisons. They do say on Asda website when they do the in store comparisons - they don't use MSM.

Where is Savvy - haven't seen him around for a while.

I actually tried that before when we had a surfeit & it was about the right time to use them but there were no takers. It's probably because we live out in the sticks. I don't think anyone in the village is into jamming or picking as also tried a few neighbours.

Dippy, I'm probably being thick but I don't see how that will help me. I have around 8 email ddys that I can use - but if they stick to sending the vouchers out in the ordinary post then my real home address is the only one I can use for postal deliveries. I thought they would come by email and I can work round that but not postal addresses.
my first one cam,e in the post all others in email
