Tube has come out again. Nurse tried really hard but can't get it in. Got to go to A&E, if they can't do it then I've got to tell them to get me to london. Really don't want to go.Ladyshopper wrote: »Thank you. I'd like to know why as well, it's stitched in and has a dressing over it sticking it in place yet is still sliding out.
Thank you, I really hope so.
Thanks so much.
District nurse called ambulance about 3 and was told it might be up to a 2 hour wait. Didn't think to ask what I should do if it didn't turn up, I certainly don't want to call 999 to chase it. Have packed a suitcase in case I get sent to london. Could be a long night.
So sorry to hear this LS but much as you don't want to go to London hospital it might be for the best and get it sorted once and for all.I am up there on Friday afternoon for my Pre Op tests.0 -

Hope all goes well at A&E and you don't have to go to London ...but maybe London might be better qualified to do what needs doing if you know what I mean ...fingers crossed for you have certainly gone through the mill these last months0 -

Feeling rather sad as just received a message that one of our Ladies in the Widow group has passed away:AIt was expected as she was in a Hospice but is very poinant as she is the first Member in our little group of 18 who has died:A.I am so pleased that she was able to make it to my Birthday Party as I feel sure she really made an effort to come when we were all together to say Goodbye:A0 -

What you doing in that bed to keep it coming out?_pale_
If you're tossing & turning maybe use pillows each side of you to keep you moving less?
Hope they can sort it quickly locally and help you know why it's happening all the time.0 -
'Sanex Advanced Hydrate 24h Bath Cream' glitch back on
It is £1.99 at Morrisons so two of these and one 'Dove Men Care Body & Face Wash - Clean Comfort 400ml' = £5 at asda (3 for £5).
apg = £4.42 so cost is 58p for all 3

I think the problem is I can't sleep on my back, so I do move about a lot from side to side. However, as the tube I've got in goes from my belly button, across my belly (stitched) then into a leg bag and sits on the front of my thigh, I'm still not sure how that is making it move and work its way out.
Just got surgery to chase ambulance as still no sign. All they can say is they're busy and I'm on the list.0 -
