  • I have just spent the whole day cleaning the kitchen, and not just cleaning but cleaning it, and dusting and polishing. The house on the whole is cleaner than it has been in years, all I have left to do tomorrow is make the tomato chutney, decided to do that tomorrow rather than today. Not sure if I am going to peel all the tomatoes though, 3lbs of cherry tomatoes

put a saucepan of water on the stove when its bubbling pierce the skin of each tomato and drop them in for about a minute skins come off easily
