    Thanks For recipe that looks good and have sll ingredients in house so may do one For Tomorrow.but with strawberrys on top as have some fresh ones left and will mix with hm strawberry jam.

    Are there any welshies here that remember welsh cakes ?
    my mum (nan) use to make them for me and cook them on a piece of iron my dad made for her on top of her cooker ring
    they were round and flat and had sultanas in them
    ive tried a few recipies but they just dont taste the same as the ones mum made
