  • He has more patience than his siblings, but not a great deal.

He was in the house 10 minutes and was rolling his eyes. I did about 10 hours and was still smiling (whilst holding a sharp knife behind my back... just waiting for the ideal opportunity!)

Some people just don't know when they are not wanted :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Seriously though I hope you find a better solution, might be worth mentioning to OH that he would have to deal with her too, that might solve it:eek:
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

He would never let her move in with us. He has no patience with her at all.

Since her OH died, she has been making everyone's life difficult as she insists on not being left on her own, and today she kept repeating that her doctor had told her that she was a good, kind person, who had dedicated her life to her children and they must make sure that she is not left alone...... it went on and on.

I think in the last 5 weeks she has only been on her own for less then 2 hours!

I am always really nice to her (probably too nice).

But I think she understands now that she cannot live with us. I am going to arrange to take her to see some sheltered housing (even though she was saying that she cannot breathe in small houses.... I f*ing live in a small house!).
