Not quite as funny as first time, but then I have seen it about 10 times :D

As for MILs we moved away about 60 miles to avoid OHs mum! The things she got up to, I love her dearly, but leaving knives on the edge of the worktop and then complaining when I moved them was beyond the pail when the kids were around, and we left them with a booster seat to put ds on and showed them how to put it in the front seat with the seatbelt (no seatbelts in the rear) when they had him for a week when he was about 4, then we went to pick him up and the booster seat was in the back. Apparently MIL reckoned she could catch him if they had to stop quick  I went ballistic and they could not understand why

I bet you wanted to kill her!

My MIL only ever looked after one of my children once (as she always said that she could only care for one child, and she always had her daughters' child).

So on the night of my sisters wedding she agreed to have DS1, and that she would not allow her other grandchild to be dumped, we even spoke to OH's sister who agreed she wouldn't take her child that night....... when we arrived at the wedding we rang her and she was already in pieces as the granddaughter had been dropped off and she had no ability to cope.

So we went to collect DS1, and never let her have any of our kids again! and now she wants to move in!.........:eek::eek:

Fortunately my brother in law still lives with the inlaws, he is in his early 40s and shows no sign of moving out, really quite useful :D

I've 'stabled' Simon in to a cat carrier - don't like the idea he is out there 'loose'
    There could be rats

Mr P - our Alpha male cat - thinks he has competition & has pithed over every surface nearby :o:o
He keeps walking about all stiff like - as if the tortoise is going to leap on him for a fight :rotfl::rotfl:

Ooo that reminds me.. I need to get some sloe berries.

You could order plain gin for the base though or do you make your own

Do you make anything else... my sister made raspberry vodka last year it was very nice :D

It was DS1 who first made the sloe gin, and then emigrated. We found this about 3 years later, and it was like tar (it was lovely).

I have been making it since, but never make enough to last me!

    :D:D:D:D:D

We made some cherry liquor, but OMG it was so strong it was dangerous!

We worked out that with the loo roll we already had and today's haul, we shouldn't need to buy any more for about four months :D

He has more patience than his siblings, but not a great deal.

He was in the house 10 minutes and was rolling his eyes. I did about 10 hours and was still smiling (whilst holding a sharp knife behind my back... just waiting for the ideal opportunity!)
