  • Morning,

on the subject of MiLs. DH went to visit her yesterday........... I am persona non grata for saying the wrong thing a few Xmases ago, so do not go very often!

So, I hitched a lift to town. Had a lovely time. Bag of recycling to H&M 2 x £5 vouchers wys £25 (DD will be pleased.) Pair of jeans recycled to Evans £10 off wys £40 (Pair of shoes for work?). found two pairs of work trousers in Jeager Sale, and got second hand Kindle in CEX with credit voucher. I was just relaxing in Caffe Nero with a free drink, when DH arrived to collect me. He was a bit stressed after a couple hours being moaned at and given jobs to do!:rotfl:

Off to Alton Towers today. Kids into park and me and DH to Spa. DD did not roll in till 5am, so not setting off as early as planned!!!!

    What a day yesterday!

Our cycling event was a huge success :j

But just before the main race kicked off the heavens opened. It went from brilliant sunshine to biblical rain in a matter of minutes:o after one circuit.....and the start of 27 miles of racing....every rider was black from head to toe:o

I haven't looked at Mr TMs kit. It went straight in the washer last night but it will be a miracle if his white socks come clean:o

That apart it was a wonderful day....I didn't even wince when the prosecco got sprayed everywhere:rotfl:

I will try and find a photo or two later:)

Then I cooked for everyone plus friends last night. I don't know how my legs held up as most of the day I had spent dashing around the track ensuring marshals were in place.

A day of relaxation today before I start thinking about Sunday lunch

    Good morning all

David. Hope you are well Your wit is sadly missed Noticed that BB(your old sparring partner) has made random posts but only a couple Its sad we are missing so many :(

There are a few chatty ops holding it together and i am very grateful for that Cant name them in case i miss one which would be very bad manners

My routine was very much put out when the site was under maintenance yesterday I love to browse when having my breakfast

Hope those on holiday are having a fab time. those that are not too well feel better and the sun shines for everyone today

Can I add that I am working tomorrow No BH for us

    Hi Mrs Mac.

Sorry that was a little random of me last night. I do miss the silliness of an evening. And a little rude just to leave a link and go. :o

I hope everything is OK for everyone. college starts Monday. So the madness begins again.

Well done to the regulars for holding things together when everywhere else people have flaked out.

    Take care

    BB xx

PS Bank holiday ! ARF never ever get them off XXX

Morning All - little bit of sunshine out there today and I have time for a coffee on the patio and a quick read back. Simple pleasures for me!
