Hi Elites
This is probably all wrong but here is how I made some cash this morning.
Go into Mr S and buy exactly the following:
Wholemeal Farmhouse £1
JS Foil Containers £1.55
Basics S/Raising FLR £0.55
Sunpat Nat crchy pb £1.50
JS Caster Sugar £1.40
JS B/C Pork LRG £1.80
Danish 10 SMK £2
JS Block Puff Pastry £1
JS skim milk 2.27 £0.69
JS WHL milk 2.27L £1
JS B/C Pork LG £1.80
Coffee Cups £2.50
S.Pell lemon 6 x 330ml £4
S.Pell Orange 6 x 330ml £4
Total to pay minus 0.60 meat multi buy = £24.19
Generates a £0.15p brand match when compared to Mr A.
Here comes the womble science
Semi skimmed was 69p instead of £1 (+0.31)
Upload reciept to Shoptize for 0.25p
Upload same reciept to Clicksnap 5p
Triple Mr S points voucher sticking out of SS machine gives a value of 0.24p on transaction
Also sticking out coupon giving the bearer £6 or 1200 in nectar points on a £60 shop. I haven't included that here as I haven't realised that coupon.
Brand match as above 0.15
1p roadkill outside Mr S as I packed my bike!
I believe showing all workings that gives me £1.01 to start the day?
Bob
Hi there bob:j
Thank you for posting.......I need to lock you in a room with me for an hour:rotfl:
We can help you so much with your weekly shopping. If I had spent £25 in S I would expect a BM up to the limit of £10 which can be done easily.........it just takes a bit of planning......and resigning yourself to the fact that you might be buying stuff you are not ready to use this week but next month. Planning is the key. Starting a bit of a stash makes it workable.
Please don't think I'm being smug....I really hope you stick around:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

When I was working in South Africa and trying to get out of an awful contract that wasn't what I'd been led to believe, the Lawyer said he wouldn't charge me if I'd repeat Llan.........etc to every one in the office, so I did!:rotfl:0 -

You definitely need to read far more on here. TBH we're probably shocked at people spending full price, or near on shopping. Stick with us and you should see a LOT of savings. Glitches few & far between at the moment BUT they will come. It's very often wombles that pick up the new glitches so we could probably do with some more people from the womble thread so we don't miss as many as we probably are at the moment.
Hope you all have at least a months worth of groceries and water in the house as Gordon Brown's ex aide has now suggested we're in for a total meltdown - what a prat!
http://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/markets/britons-warned-stock-up-on-canned-food-for-stock-market-tumble/ar-BBm3clv?ocid=spartandhp
So put your money under your bed and get at least a months groceries in - I'm OK as I've probably got a 6 month stash along with probably most of you on here. It's just milk, bread and fresh fruit veggies I'm gonna run out of.
Talk about scaremongering at it's worst!
Your right it definatly is scaremongering, but doesnt it make you feel smug to know we all have healthy stashes to keep us going, I have plenty for us and to share with the girls, no need for water we have a spring, plenty of veg and fruit, and milk just need bread

I thought point no 3 that the prat made was just slightly:eek: over the top.
“Crash advice No.3: agree a rally point with your loved ones in case transport and communication gets cut off; somewhere you can all head to.”
Armageddon here we come - according to the 'expert' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

So we can all descend on you then Rhosy! Rally point is Rhosy's we'll each bring a stash. I have bread mix bought years ago from Approved Foods - it still works perfectly well & I haven't seen any weevils in it.0 -
Cheap red wine thanks to 10 ways, I don't know if it will come but worth a try maybe !
This Red Wine retails for £18.95 per bottle at Wine Merchants.
The average price (over the last year) is around £14
However we've found 6 bottles for £20.99 (£3.49 per bottle)

i think its for this reason I've stopped watching the news as much:o
Stuff is exaggerated, information manipulated and twisted, sensationalism and scaremongering.

Help pretty please.
Youngest son has now got a mini samsung like his normal tablet for using as an e reader :j - he was running out of paperbacks
So OH said he would download some books and magazines onto a micro SD card for him and I could then post it to youngest son - (the post is very fast, if I send a letter it takes less than a week to arrive, very impressive).
So I asked him for a reading list and so far he has come up with
Lord of the Rings
Harry Potter Books.
I know he has 3 Harry Potter books on the mini Samsung already so I need to check which ones but he was saying they are very expensive on E books - £5 each
Does anyone know of a cheaper method of getting these?
He has also asked for books by a Japanese writer called Haruki Murakami - has anyone heard of him, what sort of books does he write?
Just checking now which ones he has already got.
OH is also going to upload mags he likes eg Top Gear. climbing, walking, mountain biking mags etc ...
I am sure OH has already got a spare micro SD card but if now how much are they and where can you get them from?
I've also sent him the BookBud link - is there anything else similar?
A good MSE guide http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/free-e-books, Calibre is a must to convert files.
Have also sent a PM

Sorry TrulyMadly I have to report failure on the loo roll mission unfortunately.....spent an embarrassing amount of time in both Tesco & Morrison's today but came up with nothing.
Although I guess we could always use the 50p off Plenty kitchen roll voucher that is around, buy kitchen roll and then saw the rolls into thirds to make slightly skinny loo rolls........?
Sorry, that's about as useful as I get.......excuse me while I scuttle back off into lurk-dom.0
