You definitely need to read far more on here. TBH we're probably shocked at people spending full price, or near on shopping. Stick with us and you should see a LOT of savings. Glitches few & far between at the moment BUT they will come. It's very often wombles that pick up the new glitches so we could probably do with some more people from the womble thread so we don't miss as many as we probably are at the moment.

Hope you all have at least a months worth of groceries and water in the house as Gordon Brown's ex aide has now suggested we're in for a total meltdown - what a prat!

So put your money under your bed and get at least a months groceries in - I'm OK as I've probably got a 6 month stash along with probably most of you on here. It's just milk, bread and fresh fruit veggies I'm gonna run out of.

Talk about scaremongering at it's worst!

loving hearing the first job stories, mine was the most unglamorous, I worked at one of Lord Rayleighs farms milking cows, I had to start at 5 am help get the cows in from the fields we would be milking several hundred cows then put them back out and clean the milking sheds, on my first day one of the old blokes told me to get something out of a shed I went in and came face to face with the biggest bull that I had ever seen it was their top show animal, and they wanted to see how I would react, they expected a girlie scream, and to run out, I slowly edged foward grabbed the bucket and backed out, I was very scared but was not going to admit that to them, as a girl I had a lot to prove and I think that went a long way ..

Took the opportunity to have a good mooch around Ms 25% off wine whilst I was out. Sadly nothing mega cheap due to M & M comparing the price after the 25% discount :( but the following might be palatable if you're in need.

    White
M signature Soave Classico is £5.99 with 1000 more points. So pay£26.94 for 6 and receive 6000 more points = £3.50 per bottle. I bought this one so it works.

    Red
M Sorso Montepulciano D'abruzzo. Same price and points as above. Should work exactly the same as above but not tested by me.

Slightly cheaper at £3.24 per bottle (I think :o)
    Homestead Austalian Chardonnay
    Homestead Australian Shiraz.
These are both £4.99 with 500 more points. Pay £22.44 for 6 and receive 3000 more points. These are also untested but more points signs up in store so no reason they shouldn't work

*all my sums are approximate :D (and don't include petrol, time and initial outlay Anon :p)

I've just got back from a few days away and am trying to get up to speed and find out what has been going on. I haven't seen any posts about pot noodles since they compared nicely on the 20th, which surprises me.

This is just a heads up to say that if they are still on offer at 3 for £8 in A then the above comparisons should still work A v T as there are no multis on A.com.
