I also had a ridiculous exchange with an SA in As this morning.

I had a bunch of bananas in my shopping. When he came to scan them, he reached under the till for a small plastic bag to put them in. I told him politely I didn't need a bag for them. He told me that all loose fruit and veg had to be in bags  and proceeded to put them in the bag anyway......

Meanwhile DS2 is at my side telling the SA that they weren't loose, they were in a bunch :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So I took them out the bag and left the bag in the packing area. SA then says I need to put the bananas back in the bag......for hygiene reasons :rotfl: I ignored him and packed them in my shopping bag. He then picked up the empty bag, scrunched it up and had a moan because it couldn't be used now :rotfl::rotfl: presumably because my unhygienic bananas had contaminated it!

All this time DS2 was still trying to explain his loose/bunch theory to him. :D

Really do wish I'd bought the watermelon that was the size of a football now :rotfl::rotfl:

And i'm in wholehearted agreement with the no bag policy, as is my local A who stick the price sticker on my lone onion on a C&C!
