    Spoke too soon.

District nurse came, removed dressing. Tube is out, won't even reach belly button as tummy has swollen. Sought advice from London on call urologist, I'm off to A&E so they can remove stitches on my belly, move it along, reinsert it and stitch it in.

Fun Sunday afternoon for me! :(

Ladyshopper, hope it all goes well.

  • Can I pick the brain of the Elite.

Mum purchased a freezer in July 2014 from a large electrical chain. It has broken after 14 months........

The company states that it is out of it's 12 month warranty.

They state under the sales of good act that they will make a contribution to another fridge/freezer in their store.

    Suggestions please

Read this article, Last a REASONABLE length of time, 14 months isn't reasonable. Also call your local councils trading standards, as they may help a lot if they get involved. HTH

Can the company not arrange for an engineer to fix it ?
Then as a gesture of goodwill offer some money to replace the spoilt food ?

Thanks tweets just a little blood this morning so that's a good thing.

Will take here to the vets tomorrow as its better to be safe than sorry.

As when i was a lad my first dog a dear hound got hold of rat poison thanks to the local pest control department.

A neighbor had birds and the woman next door complained about rats and they put poison in my garden without informing us. All the properties were private houses

Now whenever i see blood coming from a dog i think of him in my arms hemorrhaging blood from everywhere

The hardest thing was the fact that i took the dog to the PDSA days before. As i was convinced he had eaten poison as he was drinking large amounts of water and they told me i was wrong

I was only 16 at the time so i accepted what they told me and took the dog home.He became violently ill four days later and died in my arms on the way to the vets he was only 10 months old

When my other dog broke his toe a couple of months later i took him to a private vet and he told me that he could of saved the dog as I suspected he had eaten rat poison days before he died :(

So now i wont take any chances regardless of the cost

Nice to see poppy in here new bed also glad to see your kitchen is almost completed :)

Don't blame you taking her to the vets tomorrow.

She likes her new bed in the kitchen. So fingers crossed she doesn't wreck it when I leave her alone in kitchen and go out. I need my hair cutting and to go Mr T this week will try and book in hairdressers on Thursday . They shut Mondays up here so will ring Tuesday :) and go Mr T after its across the road .
