Morning, family round for meal today to say farewell to ds2 who is off to China for a year early tomorrow:( Fantastic opportunity teaching English at a uni there. Size wise he'll fit in well, just bought age 11/12 underwear and he's 23! Also age jeans age 12. At least he will have a good choice of shoes out there as he struggles to get a six that looks adult.
Hope you all have a good day:)

Is my champion bird spotter WMC around?

Spotted a pretty little thing tonight. Black. About the size of a thrush but slimmer, sleeker with a smaller head. Bright red beak and a little white squiggle marking on its lower body. Seen it two days in a row in exactly the same place. Any ideas what it is?

Also, the discussion we had the other day about pheasants dicing with death near the side of the road......well today.....there was a mama pheasant with her little brood messing about near the side of the road. Acres of fields either side of the road as far as the eye could see....and yet mama brings them to the road

It sounds a bit like a redbilled buffalo weaver but it's well off track, you are in the UK aren't you?

The main thing we need to know is, do you like baked potatoes and what is your filling of choice?! :D :rotfl:

I've just been very cruel. Mr TM said he fancied something but couldn't decide what. I suggested a pork pie. He wasn't keen at first but I went on and on.

Now he says he wants one but I was only pretending. There are no pork pies in the fridge:o

However the joke has backfired. I'm now going to have to make him a bacon sandwich:rotfl:
