    Look, you've had MAJOR surgery on top of not being at all well for a long time ! You are on your own for a lot of the time just when you really need someone around to make sure you are looked after. Its obvious that you are struggling to do even the most basic things and, on top of that, you are trying to cope with all sorts of tubes, bags and leakage . You can't get comfortable and you aren't sleeping so, on top of everything else, you are exhausted ! Stop beating yourself up over the things you can't manage yet, take all the help thats offered (and ask for help when it isn't offered !).

    Moan on here as much as you like - with what you've got to deal with you are entitled to have a bloody good moan as often as you feel like it and nobody will think any the less of you. Its early days yet for this type of surgery and things WILL start to get better soon. Also, what help are you getting with grocery shopping and food preparation - you need to make sure you are getting enough proper food .
