AJ would it help to get a special seat cushion to position yourself better in the car at the moment. Mr TS has one for his back it has a cut out bit one of the physios he used to work with recommended it to him all about posture.
I must admit I do tense up sometimes while driving which doesn't help joints aching but have found the corsa more relaxing to drive on a long trip than the focus as I have been able to move the steering wheel.
Tiny those back cushions are great, I've used one but haven't biught one, yet. On my list to do.
I think I've gone from knowing I'll ache to panicking and getting anxious. I'm going to put it off for now and drive everyday from tomorrow. Cost a fortune in fuel but I just need to get it out of my head.
I'm having nightmares that I am stuck somewhere, aching, it's dark and ....... That's when I wake up  I don't want to start having actual panic attacks again. Had them years ago, took months to get sorted. There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

Make sure you do then AJ. xx
I can empathise with you when DD3 first got good at trampolining meant it was not always viable for me to share lifts anymore like when it was just me and DD2 travelling and I got a bit panicky at times driving all over the country. The best thing I ever did was get a Tom Tom, even if I knew where I was going, I would set it up it just to reassure me, I don't usually look at it much just listening to the instructions makes me feel more relaxed.
I know the way to DD1's off by heart now but use it every time even if Mr TS is in the car it has become my habit of security.
I do think it's an age thing too though, I had no problem driving up and down the country in my early/mid twenties. I started to worry when I approached 40 and not the speed.0 -
He was horrible man, it was all to do with a sky dish:eek:
