If you have an Odeon near you Groupon are currently doing 2 Odeon tickets for £10 or 5 for £20, not forgetting Topcashback or Quidco. hth

Thanks Nellie we don't have odeon, I have meerkat 2for 1 for 12 months. that is a very good deal also x

At a guess, promotion abuse if more than one account? (Not judging, just saying likely cause). Some of these sites track the IP or place cookies so know when multiple "people" are claiming from the same address (regardless of what you actually complete on a claim form) and have in their T&Cs about third party claiming too.

It wouldn't be so bad but without the Elite and people like us their promotions would fail as most muffles would never get round to claiming (and some of us Elite :o mess up when there are claims involved).

Wouldn't say that I have abused it only had 2 accounts, different emails, yes same IP address so my own fault. I have only had 4 free tickets out of this promotion x

Right, here's a question for you all re: these Sainsbob promos for 200 nectar points when you next shop in a local/petrol station...

The missus and I have linked our nectar cards. The T&Cs say once per person and points will be added to the primary account...do you think that means we can both claim each offer and the primary account will be credited twice?

I'm thinking "yes", because we each had to activate the offers separately when we logged in but just wondered if anyone had dealt with similar before

    Thank you kindly
    x

Its one of those low risk situations - spend £1 on both accounts, making sure you scan seperate cards - at the very worst you will still get 200 points for a £2 spend, at best 400 points for a £2 spend.

    Why are your cards linked?

Oh and I have separate cards as our spending patterns are different

The T&Cs say "swipe" and no minimum but wondering if the visits register when no points earned...
Can you see the visits under your Nectar card transaction history - provided you spent less than £1?...

I can't see the transactions yet but I know it takes time to filter through. I'll hang on to my receipts so that if need be I can quote the receipt numbers to them or scan/email and they can see for themselves that I swiped the card per the T&Cs

I'd rather spend as little as possible and cross my fingers that I get 800 points :money:

I'm banking one of the Mars Bars to a TCB account that hasn't hit the £50 limit for clubcard withdrawal so my £2.40 cash outlay will be matched against £1.20 cb and 42 clubcard points (which I'll at least double)

I linked the cards so that I could double up for an electrical item and never got around to unlinking them
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
