Canonteign falls. Highest man made waterfall I believe their literature states.
You can climb up it, says ninety steps, but that's in question!!!!
the going up is also uneven in many places.
The downward is just a slope..had I know this I'd have gone up the downward...would've missed some of the views and the Victorian fern garden they are reestablising, but it would've been much kinder to my arthritic knee
Edited to add canonteign are on Dartmoor in Devon not far from Exeter.

Many waterfalls that are spectacular after heavy rain can be disappointing after a dry spell. You need to time your visits well.0

This is the only one I know of it Dorset - near Encombe House on the Jurassic coast. It's hard to reach on foot - easiest way is by boat, I think.0 -
Aber Falls in North Wales is quite scenic. There's also a path that allows you to reach the top and walk into the mountains beyond, although there's a bit of 'bad step' that's quite slippery when wet.0

Are they mixing it up with Hardraw Force which is set within the grounds of the Green Dragon Inn near Hawes?
