Do we really need to enter 100-200 a day ?

However don't forget that lots of the competitions take 4 weeks to notify you of a win.
You just can't beat the feeling when you get a surprise win through the letterbox.0 -

I just wait for notification of the win. I also just use the MSE functionality to ensure that I do not dupe an entry.0 -
Do we really need to enter 100-200 a day ?Hello
I love to enter competitions daily find it relaxing but after doing about 20/30 I get boredso my question is do we really need to enter 100-200 a day to be a winner? I'm pretty sure its pot luck or am I missing out ? I just don't see how people find time to do this many ? I tried and failed lol
hi, just have fun & enter what you want to win,
it is just down to luck though tbh the more you enter the
better the chances of winning,
lots of good luck to youplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Just enter as many as you feel like.
Some people will enter loads and win nothing and others can enter a few and win them all! It is all down to luck of the draw.
Last month I entered over 8000 competitions and won absolutely nothing.
My mum entered about 40 competitions one week last month and won 3 things (including a tablet)

Some on here seem to manage 2000 a day while feeding 1 month old twins, juggling jelly and riding a bicycle...
Set your own goals.... ignore what everyone else says they are doing, let them break their backs if they choose.
Best reply! Because I was kinda of thinking the same thing0 -

Goes to show you never really know 😊 I won't be feeling left out now if I can only mange 30 a day :beer:0 -
I never add up how many I enter - I just enter what I can each day.
I believe winning comes down to luck but obviously the more you enter gives you more chances too....... So someone who enters 20-30 a day is bound to win less often than someone entering 200-300, who is bound to win less than someone entering 2000-3000 a day!
Also winning can depend on the types of comps you enter. Usually local comps or effort comps get less entries.Enter what you can and be happy! If you get bored after entering 30 a day then stop - comping should be a hobby and if you aren't enjoying it and find it a chore, then find another hobby. Hobbies are meant to be for enjoyment
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I agree with everyone else.
When I started in ... err, whenever it was I started, I'd enter as many as I possibly could every day, this year I do a fraction and my win rate is around the same as before - even though I enter a lot less!!
I find that I enter a lot more random ones now rather than trawl through this site, for example, I'm flicking through Facebook as I do, see a competition and enter. Same with Twitter! Then when I can be bothered, I pop on here, as I am now, and go through a handful of pages
Biggest win recently is a ps4so I'm a happy bunny with how I comp! xx

You might find it better entering by end date (if you don't already) as, if you're picky, you might get through them all (apart from the last day of the month when it's an absolute nightmare!).
If you enter half of what others seem to, you may just find it takes you twice as long to win the same number of prizes.
As above, it's really down to luck. I enter thousands and very rarely win. Certainly not once a week! Lucky if it's once a month!
Jx2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
I don't really tend to keep count. In a "normal" day (while kids are in school and I'm not busy with other stuff) I'll enter anything up to 150 but these past two weeks I've barely done any at all. However I don't think there is any magic formula such as "enter 200 a day and you'll definitely win at least 2 a month" or so on. In the past three months I've won one, very small, prize. In previous months while entering about the same amount, I've won anything up to 8 prizes in a month, and once or twice I've had two high value wins within a couple of days. There seriously is no trick to it, it's purely down to luck and chance, at least where random draws are concerned. Just do what you feel able to manage - there will always be somebody who does more than you, but comping itself is not a competition!0
