Do we really need to enter 100-200 a day ?

Options
Hello

I love to enter competitions daily find it relaxing but after doing about 20/30 I get bored :/ so my question is do we really need to enter 100-200 a day to be a winner? I'm pretty sure its pot luck or am I missing out ? I just don't see how people find time to do this many ? I tried and failed lol

  • No a lot of Compers will enter a lot less than that and win thousands. It's about doing a variety and you should then win regular.

Hi Nadine, just do as many as you feel happy with. No rules really.
The thing is when you first start it can be very slow going. The more you do the faster you get, like learning anything. If you stick at it entering gets easier and quicker. Good Luck!

    Back Comping in 2024!
  • I enter for things I can see myself using or that I could give as a gift. I can knock 200 through in an hour or so then do instants all in one go.
    Started Comping: 1st June 2015
Prizes so far: 12kg Dog Food, Pro-Thermal Cream, Kindle Fire HD, Playing Cards, Canvas Bag, Cherry Tree, Jupiter Ascending Merch, Jelly Footballs, Afternoon Tea
  • But the more comps you enter the more chances of winning.
See the August challenge for interesting details.
Personally I try and go either for the ones with a lot of prizes or postals.
On average I enter about 300 - 400 per month and usually win an average of 4 prizes in a month.

It is down to luck at the end of the day. But if you enter 100 competitions you do technically have more chance of winning a competition than if you enter 20, especially if those 20 are only competitions of sought after items (iPad / iPhone / Tech / ITV etc).

I know people who have entered 1 and won it, I know people who have entered 1000s and not won a thing. It is all down to luck!
    Thanks to all posters :A

Just enter as many as you feel like.
Some people will enter loads and win nothing and others can enter a few and win them all! It is all down to luck of the draw.

Last month I entered over 8000 competitions and won absolutely nothing.
My mum entered about 40 competitions one week last month and won 3 things (including a tablet)

Thanks guys for your interesting replies. I will try aim for at least 40 a day but with a baby that will really challenge me lol
  • Do what you can.

Some on here seem to manage 2000 a day while feeding 1 month old twins, juggling jelly and riding a bicycle...

Set your own goals.... ignore what everyone else says they are doing, let them break their backs if they choose.

Better still, do not count entry totals.

Just enter & forget. If a win comes back that is great but if not you are not downhearted.

    Works for me.

Yep, don't count entries! My dad has done 800 this year to date and won a trip to London, a £500 furniture voucher and 2 lots of tickets to events. I've done at least 2000 in the last 6 weeks and not had a bean lol! I think you're either lucky or you ain't and I'm in the latter category :-)
