Cancelled sky....quicker than I thought...

Was in a queue for 7 1/2 mins, then after saying hd box had flickering lights, no I dont want technical folk, and I couldn't afford the tv package, 90 seconds later, cancellation put through, 1st September no more sky...so hello free view and possibly some other solution, humax, android box, dreambox or one of the newer hybrids that takes sat signal and connects to the Internet....lots of research to do.:money:

Tv has built in free view, but sky box exhibiting the symptoms, power light flickers/cycles between Amber an green and if you're recording the red light flickers as well, sometimes even the blue circular light would flicker, intermittently of course, but a quick google on the forums say that the power supply about to go....hence I'll investigate other options.

But you can get another Sky box on eBay for 99p upwards...pop your viewing card into that, pair it, and you can then get all the non-subscription channels at no cost. Freeview is fine as long as you have a working external aerial.
The downside is that you will lose the PVR functions |(Sky+).
