if its from the debt collector , IGNORE AS MENTIONED ABOVE (FOR UP TO 6 YEARS)
debt collectors will harass you but are powerless and can do nothing at all
if its from the PPC or the landowner, read the LBCCC FIGHTBACK thread in the crabman sticky thread
ps:- if its Scotland, IGNORE anyway (no keeper liability in Scotland)
post #3 told you this, so the advice wont change0 -

does Ian Hislop fancy his chances in court?
Scotland , bring it on ,,,,,,,,,,,
amongst the garbage , sorry letters you have received , any mention of POFA 2012?0 -
They will threaten anything to scare you, send a herd of rhino round on a number 9 bus, piddle through your letterbox, anything to frighten you into paying or contacting them so they can lie to you.0

The advice is still to give anything and everything you receive a good stiff ignoring, unless you get actual court papers from a real Scottish court. When you do, please take a photograph of the squadron of flying pigs that delivered it.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Just received another letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd now threatening court action ..... Do I still ignore?? I haven't answered any letters. Sorry getting freaked now0

DRP cannot start court proceedings
its just another scary letter, you may get dozens from these debt collectors, stop reading them and put them in a folder
come back IF you receive an LBC from the landowner or PPC , or genuine court papers from the landowner or PPC (its unlikely to be the landowner, but you never know)
IGNORE DEBT COLLECTORS and their SCARY LETTERS
cant make it any plainer than that , they are powerles, nagging sores, so when we say IGNORE , we actually mean IGNORE, canoot stress this enough !!0 -
Same things happening to me Caroleannecrawford, just follow the advice DRP are just cowboys looking for easy money they dont receive a penny unless they scare you into paying.Listen to the advice and ignore theyare completely powerless up here,ignore.0

What part of IGNORE TOTALLY is so difficult to understand?
Only ever reply to properly issued court papers - and you will get plenty help if that happens but don't hold your breath for that happening in Scotland!0
