Thanks MrsL.
I am off down the allotment shortly so fingers crossed the weather stays nice. My ex picked me up some pallets so I will be figuring out what to make with them.
Dinner will involve making up something out of what's in the freezer as tomorrow is shopping day. Tomorrow I plan on starting to cook everything from scratch, as well as aiming for 3 meat free meals a week.
Ooh and yesterday I cut my living room curtains in half and tacked them along the edges to fit the 3 windows since the cat yanked the pole down the other day. I sold my virtually unused sewing machine online 2 weeks ago and so far have needed it three times!0 -
Just wondering not spotted Judi either on here for FB, anyone heard from her? DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Afternoon all
Welcome Cybertortoise
Bad start to the day tummywise, but I managed to get a load of washing done & on the line.
Yesterday I bottomed out the living room, even wiped down all the paintwork etc.
This morning I picked up a friend & drove her to a yarn shop that is a few miles away, we both bought yarn, she is going to make a felted bag, I want to make myself the virus shawl..
I'm going to put my feet up for half an hour & possibly have a nana nap.
Have a good day everyone.

JUDI if you are still reading the thread come back. I miss your photos too.
Welcome to CYBERTORTOISE! Lovely to "meet" you!
Well my trip to TKMaxx earlier was almost a waste of time. A really poor selection of cushions and, when I mentioned it to an assistant, she said it was because a lot had gone into the clearance section and all been sold. Grrr just went too late to pick up a bargain! I was, however, tempted by an Indian lantern thingy with coloured glass panels to burn candles in!
ELONA what a lovely location that sounds for scattering your DH's ashes, with lots of family with you to share their memories too.
I'm still not feeling in the mood for a chatty and gossipy girly night tonight but I've said I'll go, so I will.
Enjoy the rest of the day folks xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
TA do you have a Dunelm Mill store anywhere near you. They have a beautiful selection of cushions.
Once you get there tonight you will enjoy yourself. I know it is the last thing you want to do but it might help you and Mr.TA wants you to go as well. What a lovely man he must be.
Hugs

CANDLELIGHT we do have a Dunelm so why didn't I think of going there!!! It's only been open about a year and I tend to forget about it. Guess where I'll be going at the weekend! What would I do without you? First you put me on the right road for specs and now cushions!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

You have such a lot on your mind TA at the moment. I love that store, and I had just been looking on line for duvet cover and matching curtains.
DGD1 who now lives with us was looking on line the other night for a new duvet cover and we have promised to take her there when she has afree weekend
You know how busy these young people are.
Have fun looking

Got to the physio and the appointment hadn't been saved to their system but the nice chap saw me anyway. He remembered making the appointment luckily enough. No further treatment. keep doing the exercises and keep taking the tablets when needed. :j
It's still pouring down outside  but it's forcing me to do the last minute stuff before leaving on Friday.
I worked out why the freezer was still beeping and got it stopped, thank goodness.

GERS the presents you bought for the WAGS sound lovely, I am sure they will be so pleased with them.
