Look, no one is a useless lump of rubbish. That's really sad that you are physically unable to have a dog anymore. Don't you have friends?- I'm sure you do. Ask them to tell you something nice about yourself.
    Bet the wolves love you.

    take care

No, I don't have any human friends. It scares me that if anything happened to Mr LW I'd be totally and utterly alone.

Really, my issues have to do with having my father's DNA in me. Not much can be done about that.

Thanks for the hug, Bluebell. Sorry to hear you have MS; gotta be on a par with lupus for being a rotten deal, hey?

I can (usually) manage dog-walks ok with my mobility buggy; it's just if I had to go into hospital for a stay, any dog we had would be left alone for too long for the duration of the stay, so doing the dog-sitting job works well for me - and gives me an actual use in life!

I have a lovely Sprocker Spaniel staying at the moment, she's here for 10 days, it's the 4th time we've looked after her.

I felt really rough this morning, so my lovely DH took her for her walk, but I shall get on the buggy and do this afternoon's walk myself.:o

Yeah, like you we exchange Yule cards with the neighbours, but don't really "know" them - don't think I really have anything in common with any of them. I do know one of them refers to me as The Dog Lady :D because she's seen so many different dogs come and go here, from a tiny little Yorkie to a huge great Ridgeback/Collie cross!

I'm afraid what human friends I had deserted me when the ex-H told a lot of lies about me when I divorced him. Disappointing that they were prepared to believe such stories!
