Let's see your city and guilds advanced vehicle examination and forensics collision investigation certificates, along with your mot testing qualifications and I'll accept you're getting close.
But come on thirty years and you didn't even know speeding was a criminal offence. :rotfl: I bet they were glad to pull A19 on you.0 -
Oh dear not what i expected , you are losing your touch0

Never mind , loving spending my gold plated pension .... While you do nothing and have nothing better to do with your life than be a internet idiot
I know picking up £247,000 in a lump sum allows me to be a gold plated internet idiot. Three and a half grand a month ain't bad pocket money either. But no doubt you'll top that as you must have been at least an ACC to be as incompetent as you are.0 -
Refund after 15 months, sorry but you'd be lucky.
It's very possible corrosion kicked in and the threads we're pulled out with the bolt.0 -
If that's true then that explains everything

It depends on when they passed. IIRC around 2012 it changed to use the actual weight, with a hard 3500kg limit, instead of all the MAM nonsense and exceptions.0 -
Drop plates are only for lowering the tow ball, that's why they are drop plates & not lift plates!
I tow a trailer & have the same problem as the OP, on my previous car the trailer sat perfect, on my current car it's sits too low by 50mm.
I've queried the tow bar people & it's not adjustable. I have been told it all decided by the manufacturer (car & towbar).
But my car is older & I think the rear springs are worn, the OP's car is a new vehicle & shouldn't have this problem.
On the same subject, whilst in Austraila, I noticed tow bars there all had a horizontal metal fitting which a height adjustable tow ball fitted.
At the time I thought they seemed better than the UK tow bars & they seem to drive the same type of cars apart from a few V8 Holdens & big Fords!0
