As a retailer we do kitchens and bathrooms. Bathroom is a relatively new venture for us and niche at best. We dont promote that side of our business and it was started mainly to service our existing client base who had had kitchens from us and wanted the same design/service experience.

Bathrooms are a very specialist area and there is little to no overlap with kitchens. Bedrooms IMHO is not that much of a specialist area and a lot of overlap with kitchens. They are much simpler to fit.

I dont think one can make a judgement on what a company is about depending on what services they offer. What more important is that the service you are seeking is well catered for by the company.

They are both rubbish. Cancel your order and buy a better product.

    Brilliant!

It's surprising how many developers and builders etc are"offering" them to customers.

    Cant blame the builders/developers/retailers.

If people are open to buying only on price then someone will step in to serve up rubbish. Its a free market after all.

I personally find it astonishing that people will happily spend £500 on an iPhone that lasts a couple of years but wont spend half that on a washing machine that works MUCH harder and they expect to last 10 years.

Couldn't agree more and that's the analogy I use when customers are trying to down-spec appliances to save a few quid.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
