About 25.....they all started blurring in my head after 5.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

3! We viewed the other 2 out of curiosity (they didn't overly appeal but wanted to know how it felt to view someone else's house and whether or not viewing would change my initial opinion), saw the 3rd and put an offer in immediately (and secured it). Now happily living there....0

It was the first house I viewed. I knew instantly that I wanted to put in an offer but I didn't want to be hasty so viewed two more for good measure before offering on the first one.0

Put house on market on Thursday and had viewing on Saturday morning SOLD.
Spent next week viewing every house in the area we wanted and could afford. Found our new home 5 days later and offer accepted.

We viewed about x6 houses. We had very clear views about what we were looking for. We could see from looking on rightmove and the map if the house was in the close to sea front location that we wanted. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0

Around 20-25. Put offers in on 2 others before the one that stuck. We crammed as many viewings as possible into a single day each time we were looking (we did 5 different days with 4 or 5 viewings a day), which made comparing them easier (and made it seem like less of a headache). Even if we weren't that excited about a house from a listing, if it was near to one we were already seeing (and had roughly what we were looking for) then we'd go and have a look. Some houses with bad listings ended up being nice properties, or made us consider something we hadn't thought of before.Initial Mortgage July 2015: £170,995

Viewed about 8 or so and then decided a self build was in order as nothing suited my needs/requirements on the market at the time, Best thing I could have ever done but still stressful up to the point of getting into it.0

About 20.
I went to see quite a few of them on my own when my OH was too busy (we were both in sync with what we wanted so it was worth going alone to rule them out). And we did a couple of weekends where we lined up 5 or 6 to see one after the other.
I didn't want to be too hasty so insisted we have a shortlist of at least 3 to go back to see a second time, even though we both "knew" as soon as went into the one we eventually boughtDo you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?
