So, I went and checked mine and it has been in flower, just the flowers have been well concealed by the leaves! Thank you for drawing my attention to it peachy price, I'm so excited!
For what its worth, you can get bean trees in a golden hue I believe, and a dark leave, but IMO the green are the best. But there are more than one type certainly, so if anyone is inspired it might be worth some research instead of just going for the nearest or most available catulpa.0 -

They're certainly inedible and useless for anything as well as messy. We have 2 and cut them back each year or they'd be enormous.0 -
