    Lemon drizzle please. The only thing I am forbidden to do is hanging washing, which might be code for no riff raff. It would seem therefore that I can have a travelling funfair AND a public tea party. So it's all round to mine then.

    I once had a house with a covenent requiring me to ensure the back garden fence was maintained as horse-proof at all times.

    With hindsight I'm now assuming that's so horses pulling caravans from travelling fairs I might be having in my garden couldn't stampede out and cause chaos by trampling neighbouring tea parties. No-one likes hooves in their lemon drizzle!
  • My previous house had a covenant against the keeping of a hovercraft on the drive.
    3.9kWp solar PV installed 21 Sept 2011, due S and 42° roof.
    17,011kWh generated as at 30 September 2016 - system has now paid for itself. :beer:
