Good day Forum,
I am reading a Title Register and the schedule of restrictive covenants says:
"No hut caravan shed house on wheels nor any booths shows swings or roundabouts shall be erected made constructed placed or used or be allowed to remain in any plot".
Question:
It looks a bit of archaic language; does the above means that Garden Sheds for tool storage etc. cannot be built?
Many thanks!

booths shows swings or roundabouts
a booth is where punch and judy might be shown, or ice-cream might be sold.
a show - see punch and judy? or similar
a swing is something kids play on
a oundabout is someing multiple kids play on0 -
Without qualification then I would guess a prohibition against sheds is a prohibition against sheds, even if a garden shed (probably) isn't what they were thinking about. Do you know who can enforce it, and whether they're likely to care about your shed?0

seems pretty straightforward0 -
It seems like a very old restriction against travelling fairs. It probably applied to the land before houses were built on it and is unlikely to realisticy mean that you can't have a garden shed. If it's somewhere you are buying your solicitor should advise if it needs to be taken seriously.0

Yes, it means you can't have a funfair in the land! Haha, I've come across this sort of thing on a few houses I've looked at! In fact I'm not allowed to have public tea parties on my garden here0

If G_M brings one of his cakes, I am in.
Never coconut though.0 -
Definitely no riff-raff0

I've got a covenant which says I'm not allowed to be rowdy....
I'm quite quiet, but I'm not sure who defines what is and is not rowdy!
Anyway, OP, I suspect it means no traveling fairs, is archaic, and probably unenforceable.0
