    I have absolutely no idea.

I think DH and I were comfort spending as we were miserable at having 8 year of fertility treatment with no result.

I think we thought doesn't look like we're going to have a baby so lets spend to fill the gap.

So had a couple of nice holidays, meals out and just life in general.

Um cross stitch "stash", books, DVDs, CDs and computer bits and bobs!

Actually most of these get used on a regular basis and apart from the fact that we are suddenly getting £145,000 of debt - just buying our first house, so according to DH I am now on a stash diet (unless I really need something to finish a project off!), oh and framing of items is really on hold!

some lovely holidays, clothes, clothes, nice meals and generally by living a couple of hundred beyond my means for several years - most of it wasn't huge purchases just creeping debt.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Unfortunately I am surrounded by our debt everywhere I go in our house,EVERYTHING in it was bought with the debt after the fire,I sometimes sit looking at things wondering if I hadn't got this or that, would our debt be any less, but the truth is without the debt we wouldn't have our house,it would still be a burnt out wreck!

Nothing really, my laptop, which cost me £1000 about 5 years ago, is the only thing that springs to mind. Apart from that I think it's just spending a little too much every week on ordinary things. I used to spend £40 a week on food for just me, now I spend around £60-70 a month. Little bits here and there go unnoticed, but soon add up.
