There was a woman on here who used to post on the same threads I did and some of the diaries. One day I happened to mention I'd worked for Disney some years before for a very short time (matter of months) ....she posted - she had too........ turned out we'd worked in the same branch at the same time although only knew each other vaguely as we worked different shifts - but I had given her and her boyfriend at the time a lift home from the staff Christmas party. We'd both moved away from the area and had no idea yet we were one of a group of about ten on the diary threadI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

i worked in a nursing home for a few months and on my first day i was led into a bath room!!, and introduced to the head nurse who was bathing a resident! i was introduced to the patient (lets call her 'patient A' - who was 'hello sillyvixen so nice to see you after all these years', the head nurse was saying she is always under the impression she knows people from way back, at this point the lady said "i was so sorry to hear of Ada's death' Ada was my grandmother and 'patient A' was her best friend - i had not seen her in 20 years and yet she remembered me!
I was with 'patient A' when she died and was privileged to be with her - it was good and quick death and her family were not able to get there in time!
several years later i was in a new house share and me and one of my house mates were talking about our grandparents and not being able to be there - i told her of my experience of being their for 'patient A' and it was the next best thing as my Nan had a heart attack and was gone by the time my grandfather called me.
as we talked i suddenly realised that she had the same surname and 'patient A' and without even mentioning my nan's name we came to the the same conclusion as i said 'she's your nan' she said 'your Ada's granddaughter'
We had ended up living together and both been told about each other by our respected grandparents - but did not meet until we ended up sharing a house years later.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
A few years ago, when I was setting up my e-mail account, I had to add the figure 2 on the end of my name as there was already someone with the same name as myself. Recently, when buying an item with the usual 3 years free credit, the salesperson had to check up on my credit capability, and he found this other person with my name - living at the other end of the country, but the strange thing was that she had exactly the same birth date as myself. Weird !!0
