sellers landlord pack

Im currently selling my leasehold flat, which is part of a converted house.
the whole process is dragging like a 2 legged donkey at the mo, despite the buyer claiming he can get the whole process done in 5-6 weeks and we are currently sitting on week 11 and counting
anyway my conveyancor has applied for a landlord pack from the property management company this week and she claimed its normally about £100'ish.
a day later i was forwarded an email from the management company who are asking for £350+vat (£420).
so my question is.....
is there an upper level that can be charged for such things, its actualy a form with 18 questions on which i could have answered 10 of
if there isnt an upper limit whats stopping a management company asking for £1000+?
I have paid it and if there is a case i will fight the good fight once the sale is done as i dont want to slow this process down

Oh dear, its not Estates & Management by any chance? There is no upper limit, and these packs are often very overpriced for what they are (copy/paste standard answers).
You can challenge the level of the fees in the 'property tribunal' but with no guarantee the challenge would be successful and the time and money involved to do so most people just decide to bite the bullet.
EDIT: Also don't be too hard on the buyer. If they haven't had this pack from the landlord yet they can't fully raise enquiries yet anyway. My credit card: £148.07/£694.91 (21%)
Partner's credit card: £0/£602.03
Loan from partner's mum: £800/£2,400 (33%)
Loan from partner's dad: £10,000/£10,000 (100%)
Personal loan: £3,000/£3,000 (100%)0 -
Nope its trust property management.
I had a feeling i would just have to put up with it, hence paying for it already, but part of me was hoping the amount was regulated as its seems a lot of cash for not a lot of work.

im not being hard on the buyer at all but the hoops ive had to jump through to make this sale happen in the past weeks have been a tad frustrating which wasnt helped by him going on holiday for 3 weeks the day after i accepted his offer and taking days to answer messages from the EA and the conveyancersLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
Oh yeah I totally understand the frustration, especially if it was supposed to be a quick sale. Fingers crossed for you that it'll all be sorted soon.My credit card: £148.07/£694.91 (21%)
