The Fiat Multipla seated six, three in the front and three in the back, and wasn't that big. They stopped making it in 2010 though.0

I was going to say the same. Six decent sized seats, spacious all round and lots of cubby holes.
The Honda FRV also has 3 seats in the front but I've never driven one. I think this and the multipla were classed as a mini van.
We previously had a Renault grande scenic and I wasn't keen on it. Whoever sat in the back got carsick and the back seats weren't very spacious.
Also, had to have a new engine at 60k, then the dual mass flywheel went (very expensive to fix).I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0 -

If you only rarely go out all 6 together and never need to transport luggage for all 6 of you, why don't you just buy a cheap umbrella fold twin pushchair for the odd occasion when you might need all the seats up and then use your bugaboo donkey for the remainder of the time? £150 max and then you can choose whichever car you like to drive best
We have a Audi Q7 BTW and even though it is a massive beast, with all the seats up there still isn't masses of boot room0 -
Chrysler grand voyager? Plenty of room in those.:j0

We had a Touran then an S Max and prior to this borrowed a Zafira. The Touran had very little boot space when 7 seats were up, slightly better if only 6 seats. We had a roofbox for familly holidays.
The S Max had more space bootwise and also had 3 full size middle seats, a feature I still miss now we've gone back to a 5 seater car.
Both the Touran and S Max the seats were independent of each other, so you can go for whichever configuration suits your family needs best. The Zafira has 2 of it's seats on the same frame so you don't have that flexibility.0 -
We've owned a number of different MPVs. With 4 children and a preference for camping, boot space has always been a problem - even with a large roof box. The Galaxy and Espace (both in grand formats) were always a tight squeeze. Our current car is a Chrysler Grand Voyager. We've owned from new for 10 years and I wouldn't consider anything else. Its boot is large even with all 7 seats in place. As with all MPVs, it is better suited to touring on motorways rather than small twisty country lanes. In its element it is a preferable car to drive than the previous cars we have had. On long journeys I get over 40mpg - although around town it is closer to 30mpg. The kids also prefer it - they used to get car-sick in the other cars (especially the Espace).0
