In January to March the 1st was not a working day (in Jan it was a bank holiday and in Feb and March it was a Sunday). Since April, the 1st has been a working day until August. Interest is always credited on the 2nd working day, backdated to the 1st working day. In August the 2nd working day is the 4th, so it will be credited tomorrow, backdated to the 3rd.0 -
I wonder whether J K Rowling or E L James could make monthly sequels with more exciting versions of this thread. Or may be even whoever writes the script for Coronation Street or Eastenders.0

And maybe people on here don't spend half as much time on here as you do because they have better things to do with their lives than search these forums so find it quicker and easier to post a new thread so drop the snarky attitude.House Deposit: £28,000 and still saving!0 -

I'm looking forward to November when the 1st is a Sunday so there will be a thread on Monday 2nd November asking where's my TSB/Lloyds/BOS interest?!
Answer in advance : it will be paid on Tuesday 3rd November:)
Having said that I didn't know until today that interest was paid on the second working day of the month and have been checking a few times today, now I know, thanks Ed-1.0 -
