Just back from Lisbon coast. Hardly heard any English and when we did it was Scandinavians using as common language.

We loved it but would quite have like just one bar with access to sky sports!

Tripadvisor for rentals for a group and skyscanner flights. Tap were cheap as include meal and baggage

However, you'd be lucky to get return flights to Croatia for £300pp in high season at short notice - and that's not even considering accommodation.

No, it was just a reference to chavs drinking nasty cheap vodka. There are some wonderful spirits in Croatia, but vodka is not one of them.

Accommodation is cheap enough - if you avoid the worst tourist areas, you can easily pick up a rental for a good price if you just turn up. My perspective is different however, because it's easy to drive to Croatia from Poland.

But in fairness, I completely missed the "short notice" part. For me, Croatia is 100 Euro worth of petrol and 17 hours from my home to Dalmatia
