Good morning all. Quick post and run I'm afraid. Another UU - as predicted the 2ml of LE Superskin Concentrate has gone. I never buy this - when I get them they are GWPs. Don't like this although will use it if I get a freebie. Much prefer the L'occitane Divine oil of which I have many sachets and am looking forward to using next.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Morning Valm, do you mind if I ask where you get your Divine oil sachets? Are these with purchases or just freebies? Also not a huge fan of the LE oil but have 2 full sized to UU, also have a few other oils which I am not sold on to UU so a bit weary of buying another full size. Have never actually tried asking the sales assistants for samples in L'occitane but may have to give that a try before buying anymore!

Have 1 TA this morning, como shamballa conditioner, I hate this stuff and have realised it makes my hair look dull. Cannot be bothered with dull hair so in the bin it goes!!

    Morning all
A UU DrOrganics organic vitamin E skin lotion it is lovely, Dh said it was the best hand cream he'd ever used and it found itself on the shelf near the front door instead of on my dressing table I think he's been using it s much as me, I will be putting another tube there as I've now cut this one open and finished it off. WDBA after using up my hand cream / body lotion stashes.

    Hi guys.

    I have a couple more uu's

Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel 15ml - WNBA. This is the last tube, I have used 6 tubes this size altogether. It does make my skin soft so I will see if there are any other hidden benefits that become obvious when I stop using it.

Unbranded Shampoo Test Product 150ml - this was nice but I've no idea what it was.

  • Hi all, I'm back to normal now - thank you for the well wishes. Not sure what caused it but I hope it doesn't happen again!

    UUs:

Neal's Yard Garden Mint and Bergamot Hand Cream 50ml: Love the smell of this but it took ages to sink in which really wasn't practical - WNBA.

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner: Love the smell of these - a little bit like bubblegum but not on the sickly side. Always makes my hair shiny and soft and WDBA.

Spurred on by her I ran myself a bath last night and applied the last of my LE Brightening Mask. WNBA. I wanted to like this but still don't get on with the camphor smell. Plus it stings which is not very nice.

    Valm

The Brightening treatment shouldn't sting when you use it.

How long are you leaving it on for? I think the recommended time is only about 30 seconds, although it can be mixed with C&P and left for longer (avoiding the eyes).

Hi ladies, sorry I've been a bit absent - work is crazy, I was overseas for a couple of days last week, since I got back I've been getting ready for hols and we also made the snap decision to move house, so in the past week we have found our dream home (offer accepted provided we complete the chain before someone else comes along) and put ours on the market! Am very ready for a relaxing break now :)

All of this has left me with little time to keep up with the thread other than a quick skim, or for any pampering! Hope all are well, pleased to hear Deleted_User is better now, and big congrats to Plumpudding!

    I have UUs:

12/125 Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve 30ml - GWP and I loved it , possibly my HG - WDBA once I've used my other hand creams.

13/126. S&G Sugar Crush Body Scrub 50ml - fine but WNB, came as part of a set.

14/127. Philosophy Purity Cleanser 90ml - HG, WDBA. For now I am back to using my super-size hated Clinique soap, determined to get rid!

15/128. Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier 10ml - GWP from M&S beauty box, this was ok but WNB.

I also UU'd some sachets of moisturiser and an old pack of facial wipes whilst travelling - none on my list.

I had an IN, too, not sure if I reported it:

1/77. Garnier Express 2-in 1 Eye Make-up Remover 125ml - this was necessary, my Elemis toner just wasn't cutting it. On offer at Boots so cheap as chips and will last me through to next year.

My PP has been a bit of a fail this month sadly, things are taking so long to UU.

Off on holiday tonight so hoping for lots of UUs from that, (especially sun lotions which is a bit of a problem area for me!), see you all next month and enjoy the bank holiday! x

UU'ed Rituals hand wash last night. This was from the Ritual box that I purchase a while back from All Boxed Beauty. It was nice but didn't last long. I purchased an Imperial Leather hand wash today to replace it. Triple points offer too!

    A few ins and outs.

    UU -
3ml REN Active 7 Eye Gel. MBA, doesn’t cause reaction, but need a cream I think.
10ml REN Evercalm Cleansing Milk. WBA
30ml Unknown cuticle cream (writing rubbed off tube!)
40ml LRP Toleriane Ultra WBA HG for sensitive areas of face.
7ml Estee Lauder Wrinkle Firming Serum. Very old, found at back of drawer so used on my wrinkly old hands – very siliconey!

    TA
Last dregs CND Cuticle eraser, tube split. WNBA not consistent in using it so doesn’t really work for me.

    IN
Una Brenan Super facialist Rose Cleanser, Mask and Miracle Makeover facial oil. (3) Very naughty of me, but not stocked in my small town, and were on special offer:)

No news on my All Boxed Up Time Bomb box, oversubscribed, hopefully it will turn up in September. I have managed to stay strong and not buy the Caroline Hirons/Cult Beauty box, even at £100 it is good value (worth £200 I think), and I could have used everything, but already have lots of lovely things to use:D

Also forgot to mention UU'ed Smashbox photo ready primer - it is nice however Rimmel has a similar product for half the price. I have a Bare Minerals primer to UU anyway.
